Paul Rowland, WalesOnline’s editor, said: “Since its launch in 2014 many of those who have made the lists, for both men and women, have gone on to achieve even great success. “The WalesOnline 35 under 35 continues to be a great platform to showcase the rising stars in the Welsh economy and each year the number of entrants grows. James Williams is the founder of Sero Homes, one of Wales’ first zero carbon housebuilders, to kick-start the decarbonisation of homes in the UK.

In 2015, realising that the housing and clean energy sectors were beginning to coincide, Mr Williams left his job to pursue an innovative green housing model that could scale up and produce high-quality, sustainable housing with no energy bills.

He later founded sister company Sero Energy – a complementary service enabling developers to deliver low carbon buildings with integrated renewable energy systems in new build and retrofit projects.
